We currently have an exciting opportunity for a DIRECTOR OF FORENSIC INVESTIGATIONS located at our SAN JOSE, CA office.
DESCRIPTION of DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct and oversee forensic examinations of computer systems and digital evidence. Direct daily operations to ensure staff members properly conduct examinations of digital media. Consult on computer related investigations. Act as a liaison with clients to ensure that the cases are being managed well and that the clients’ expectations are being met. Ensure that staff follows established methodologies and procedures and meet deadlines. Ensure workflow is distributed equally among staff and make changes as needed to ensure maximum productivity. Review policies, procedures and guidelines as needed, and discuss changes, solicit feedback, and lead implementation plans. Provide leadership and guidance to staff and assist them in resolving problems/issues through daily interaction. Coordinate ongoing internal training of forensic examiners. Perform duties related to high tech investigations, including and not limited to computer forensic analysis. Communicate with client as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years experience in the field of High Tech Investigations
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Significant experience conducting and managing forensic examinations of computers and other digital media, as well as significant experience in digital evidence handling and analysis. Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple diverse tasks simultaneously. Proven business writing skills and ability to participate in high-level conversations. Ability to analyze and solve complex issues and problems; ability to work effectively and independently. Proven project management experience. Proven client servicing experience and emphasis on delivering quality service to client. Proven leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree preferred
